Participants generally control what information they choose to submit through these features. Some educational or coaching activities may require certain information to participate in the applicable Service.

EPA uses third-party payment processors to securely process payments. EPA does not store full payment card information.

- Provide coaching, educational content, certifications, competitions, and other Services.
- Improve Pulse, technology platforms, educational programs, and coaching resources.
- Conduct internal research and develop new educational, coaching, and technology initiatives using aggregated or de-identified information where appropriate.
- Evaluate participation, program effectiveness, educational outcomes, and Service performance.
- Maintain league records, rankings, standings, certifications, and historical results.
- Record, photograph, livestream, broadcast, and document activities as described in the Terms of Service and Rulebooks.

- Comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements.

Eligibility and minimum age requirements are governed by the applicable EPA Rulebook and program requirements.
Parents or legal guardians may request access to, correction of, or deletion of a minor's information, subject to applicable law and legitimate educational, legal, and operational recordkeeping obligations.
EPA encourages parents and guardians to remain involved in their child's participation and to contact us with privacy questions.
7. Communications & Marketing
EPA sends communications necessary to operate the Services as well as optional communications about EPA programs, events, educational content, and opportunities.
Operational Communications
EPA may send emails, text messages, platform notifications, or other administrative communications related to Accounts, registrations, payments, schedules, competitions, coaching, certifications, safety, policy updates, and similar matters. These communications generally cannot be opted out of while maintaining an active Account or participating in applicable Services.
Marketing Communications
EPA may send newsletters, announcements, educational resources, promotional materials, and information about programs, events, camps, leagues, certifications, and other Services. Recipients may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting EPA.
Communication Preferences
Choosing not to receive marketing communications does not affect your ability to receive operational communications related to your participation in EPA Services.
8. Data Retention
EPA retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill educational and operational purposes, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and maintain appropriate business and historical records.
Educational records, coaching records, certifications, league participation, rankings, competition history, and similar program records may be retained to preserve historical accuracy, verify achievements, support future participation, and administer ongoing Services.
If an Account is deleted or participation ends, EPA may delete, anonymize, or de-identify certain information when it is no longer reasonably necessary to retain identifiable information.
EPA may retain aggregated or de-identified information for research, educational improvement, statistical analysis, product development, historical reporting, and other legitimate business purposes because that information no longer identifies an individual.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.

EPA uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
EPA limits access to personal information to employees, certified coaches, contractors, and other authorized personnel who require access to perform their responsibilities.

Participants and Account holders are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials, using strong passwords where applicable, and promptly notifying EPA of any suspected unauthorized access to their Account.
EPA continually evaluates and improves its security practices as the organization and its technology evolve.
10. Privacy Choices
EPA believes individuals should have meaningful control over their personal information. Depending on the Services you use and applicable law, you may have the ability to access, correct, or request deletion of certain personal information.
Access and Correction
You may contact EPA to request access to or correction of personal information that we maintain about you or your Participant, subject to reasonable identity verification and applicable legal limitations.
Deletion Requests
You may request deletion of personal information. EPA will evaluate such requests in accordance with applicable law and our legitimate educational, legal, operational, and recordkeeping obligations. In some circumstances, we may retain information as described in the Data Retention section of this Privacy Policy.
Marketing Preferences
You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in applicable emails or by contacting EPA.
